Avdel (India) Pvt. Ltd., was founded in 1961 and began by manufacturing special blind fasteners in technical collaboration with Avdel Systems Ltd., U.K. (Currently: Acument Global Technologies). Since then Avdel India have expanded their operations and today, they provide a wide range of speciality hardware & advanced material to the Aerospace & Defense industries. Avdel (India) has sales offices in Mumbai and Bangalore. On 1st April 2010, Avdel (India) Private Limited demerged their commercial fastener business into Avfast (India) Private Limited, in order to focus on Aerospace operation & thereby making it more efficient & responsive.
